LE FOOTBALL AU JAPON :
Le football au japon , s'il tend à se développer ne crée pas pour autant le même engouement que certains sports d'équipe comme le baseball par exemple . En effet les terrains de football sont encore assez rares au japon et un peu comme aux USA ce sont les grandes competitions qui provoqueront cet engouement... Les japonais sont attirés par ce qu'ils considèrent "noble" et ils apprécieront plus particulièrement la part artistique de ce sport telle que l'exhibent les plus grands footballeurs.

Soccer in japan , if it begin to grow , it doesn't create the same infatuation than other sports as the baseball for example . Indeed the soccer fields are again rare and as in usa , this infatuation exists firstly during the big competitions... the most attractive for a japanese in a sport is its aspect considered "noble" and this is for this reason that they could appreciate particularly the artistic part of the soccer as the great players can exhibit it .

Comme au japon l'engouement que provoque le football aux USA reste limité comparé au basketball , au baseball , et au football américain . En fait ce sport a longtemps eu une connotation ethnique... En 1968 une league nationale se crée "the north american soccer league" , qui disparaitra en 1988. Il faut attendre la coupe du monde de 1994 aux USA pour qu'une nouvelle impulsion soit donnée au football dans ce pays.
Aujourd'hui , les 3/4 des joueurs amateurs ont moins de 18ans et le football se retrouve en 3ième position de leurs sports favoris après le basket et le volley.

Le Chicago Fire est donc le club de chicago . Ses joueurs vêtus de rouge ont remporté la league soccer en 1998 et la coupe des USA en 98 , 2000, 2003 et 2006 . Le club a proposé un contrat à zinedine zidane en 2007 pour concurrencer les los angeles galaxy .
